These days, many people have plastic surgery for beautiful person. Through the plastic surgery, many people have self-esteem.
However, it is just that plastic surgery can lead to some serious problems like obession and side-effects.
Then, why so many people have a plastic surgery?
Because, Thes days the beauty is the arbiter of social life like employment, promotion and marriage. The tendencies of these social that worship the beauty and belittles ugliness bear a numerous social vice. One of them is so called "Lookism".
For example, In the entertainment program, a girl said that the boy who is less than 180cm is a loser. Because of the lookism society, many people get stressed.
The lookism society makes individual characteristics are ignored. When we see people who have beautiful features, we always get depressed.
So the people constantly are trying to change to become the beautiful person and gradually losing at themselves.

Oh yea, I well know about the 'loser story' broadcasted in one of programms named 'Misuda'.
Lots of men who were less then 180cm became so sarcastic and criticized her. You know what, a beauty competition held annually has lost its original purpose. Most of participants had plastic surgery to look prettier and healthier and if we think of the past few year's winners, they all looked unnatural and they were just typical 'pretty girls' nothing else.
I don't know if we can ever change this phenomenon and fix all the contradictions between our real thoughts and the reality. *sigh*
